Donald B. Muenk, M.D., F.A.C.S.
The founder and Director of Cataract & Eye Consultants of Michigan, Dr. Donald B. Muenk is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. A graduate of Wayne State University School of Medicine, he served his residency in Ophthalmology at the nationally renowned Kresge Eye Institute of Detroit, and received additional advanced fellowship training at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York.
Dr. Muenk is currently on the Board of Directors of the Michigan State Medical Society (MSMS)
Marilynn Sultana, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Marilynn Sultana is a native of Detroit and graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Wayne State University. She earned her M.D. degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in 1982. After serving her internship year at St. John Hospital in Detroit, she completed her ophthalmology residency at Kresge Eye Institute where she was appointed Chief Resident. Dr. Sultana is currently on staff at St. John Macomb Hospital, William Beaumont Hospital and Straith Hospital for Special Surgery and the Eye Surgery Center of Michigan.
Alan C. Parent, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Alan Parent was the first eye surgeon in southeastern Michigan to perform laser cataract surgery with the LensX laser.
Born and raised in metropolitan Detroit, he received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan in 1992. In 1997, Dr. Parent graduated with honors from Wayne State University School of Medicine. Dr. Parent then completed a surgical internship and ophthalmology residency at Rush University in Chicago. He joined Cataract and Eye Consultants of Michigan in 2001.
Sarah B. Muenk, M.D.
Dr. Sarah Muenk earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan. After attending Wayne State University School of Medicine, Dr. Muenk completed her internship at Sinai Grace Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. She completed her residency in ophthalmology at the Kresge Eye Institute in Detroit, Michigan. Cataract and Eye Consultants of Michigan was pleased to welcome her to their professional staff in August ,2005.

Adrea R. Benkoff, M.D.
Dr. Adrea Benkoff graduated from the University of Michigan and earned her M.D. degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine. She completed her internship and residency in ophthalmology at Sinai Hospital in Detroit.
Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, Dr. Benkoff is also a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Additionally, she is a member of the Michigan State Medical Society, the Oakland County Medical Society, the Macomb County Medical Society, the Michigan Ophthalmology Society and Women in Ophthalmology.
